Results from the PSAT's will be available to students in December. Mrs. Zartman will meet with students to review results.
WHAT? The PSAT/NMSQT is the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. WHY? It serves 2 purposes, the first to help students practice and prepare for the SAT exam, the college entrance exam most students take. Secondly, it is the qualifier for National Merit Scholarships. WHO? It is recommended that all 11th grade students planning to go to post secondary training take the PSAT?NMSQT WHERE? Line Mountain High School WHEN? PSAT/NMSQT DATE: Wednesday, October 11, 2017 - during the school day HOW TO REGISTER? Students need to return the form that they received in English to guidance along with a check or cash for $16 to cover the cost of the assessment. Deadline to register is Friday, October 6, 2017.
